This telescope can illuminate approx. 50mm diameter and delivers diffraction limited images over the entire field. It has an integrated field flattener at the back end of the tube. Even bigger CCD sensors can be attached to this telescope.

Focusing is performed by a shifting-free main mirror focuser - that allows attaching of heavy accessories without any problems. There are no moving parts behind the telescope.

Of course, the Alter M806 can also be used for visual observing. The necessary adaptors are offered optional.

The built-in cooling fan offers fast temperature equlibrium - you can begin imaging or observing quickly witout being disturbed by tube seeing.
