CGE Pro - the strongest GoTo mount by Celestron with more than 40'000 objects in the computer database. This mount has been completely new designed and offers many advantages especially for astro photography.

This mount can carry up to approx. 45 kg. For instance, a C-14 can be used photographically.

Innovative alignment without pole star
Essential for mobile use - you only need a few brigther stars. Polaris is not necessary. Nevertheless, optimal polar alignment is no problem with the new software routines.

Azimuth and latitude adjustment without tools
Comfortable big knurled screws allow precise adjustment and locking even when you wear gloves.

Useable up to 20° beyond the meridian
for undisturbed astro photography without interruptions by pier flips.

5° per second slew speed
for fast but silent GoTo operations

High GoTo precision (within 5 arc minutes)
.With a simple polar alignment, up to 5' positioning accuracy is possible. Additional software routines allow a positioning even within 1' - good enough for long focal lengths and small sensors.

Precise tracking
The periodic error is within +/- 9 arc seconds and runs very smooth. A PEC function is standard.

Transportability
The CGE Pro can be divided into handy smaller parts and is therefore superior to typical fork mounts. So the CGE Pro is useable not only for observatories but also for mobile use.
