The mounting of guide scope is paramount for the success of an astronomical imaging run. Many precisely tracked exposures are ruined just because the position of the guide scope is not stable with respect to the main tube.

The Baader guide scope rings offer optimum stability of the guide scope position

-- precisely machined rings made of hard aluminum
-- four milled flat parts with different connections ( metric and imperial photo thread )
-- generous width of 28mm
-- oversized adjustment screws - M10 made of V2A steel
-- contact surfaces rotate on ball bearings and they are coated with hard rubber to assure a secure grip of the tube
-- no scratching of the guide scope tube
-- the knurled knobs are oversized to assure effortless operation even with gloves
