The MD5002 is the premium model for the demanding user. It offers multiple fine tuning options in order to differenciate between a variety of metal kinds.

Nearly every cheap metal detector can find metal objects as long as they are big enough. The difficulty lies in differenciating disturbing sources (e.g. ore containing grounds) from desired objects like noble metals.

Partially, this is possible with automatic search modes offered for some metal detectors. But an experienced searcher is able to find his objects more precisely than any automatic routine by interpreting the displays.

The MD5002 is equipped with an analogue and acoustic display allowing (in conjunction with search functions like suppression of disturbing sources) very high precision.
