Massive Dovetail clamp DX - GP standard - for high loads

GP dovetail clamp for high loads

The dovetail clamp DX holds heavy loads up to approx. 12 kg weight. All GP-standard prism rails fit into this clamp. It has similar dimensions like the Vixen GP or Skywatcher EQ mount heads.

Recommended applications:

-- Fast coupling system to upgrade mounts without GP standard
-- Adaptation of photo tripods to the Vixen system
-- Mounting of coupling systems to attach accessories to the telescope (piggyback cameras etc.)
-- and many more

Technical details:

-- Clamping system for Vixen GP - 47mm base - fitting to all "V" prism rails
-- flat base with 80mm diameter

Mounting threads:

-- 4x 1/4" photo connection threads (1x centre / 3x 28mm radial from the centre 120° by 120°)
-- Two stepped holes for on-top-mounting - distance 35mm - for M6 und M8 screws

Recommended accessories:

-- Prism rail PS Foto Del... to attach systems with 1/4" photo thread
-- Prism rails to attach OTA with tube rings
