The Powerseeker 60 AZ enables already the successful observation of the most prominent celestial bodies. Watch the craters and grooves in the lunar surface, the phase of Venus or catch a glimpse on Jupiter's moons, as Galileo Galilei saw them. Also, Saturn shows off his famous ring already.

The aperture of 60mm allows already the view of several hundred objects beyond the solar system. Find out more about double- and multiple star systems, catch a glimpse on stellar clusters and nebulae or bridge the giant gap of more than two million light years to our galactic neighbor, the Andromeda galaxy.

The easy to use mount with tripod: The mount AZ2 is very beginner friendly, as you can just put the telescope outside and start with the observation immediately. Using the horizontal (azimuth) and vertical (altitude) axes you can reach any point in the sky, and the slow motion in altitude helps to put the object to the centre of the field of view.

Terrestrial viewing - targets on Earth: The Powerseeker 60 AZ can be used for objects on Earth as it comes. Just aim with the little finder scope towards the distant target - maybe a tree, a bird or a summit - and get close to your object using the different eyepieces with the main telescope. The well made optics will show you lots of detail you would never be able to see with the unaided eye.

Photography using the Powerseeker 60 AZ: Yes - even this is possible. We offer in the "recommended accessories" section adapters for your SLR or digital compact camera, so that you can do successful photography through the Powerseeker, acting as a telephoto lens of 700 mm focal length.
